Located on George Washington's family land on the Northern Neck of Virginia, Blenheim Organic Gardens is the area's premiere organic produce farm.

Since 2000, Becky & Lawrence Latané, descendants of the Washington family, have been growing USDA-certified organic vegetables, flowers, fruit, and herbs. We sell at farmer's markets, and to restaurants, wholesale, and CSAs in Fredericksburg, Falls Church, Colonial Beach, and Williamsburg, Virginia. Blenheim Organic Gardens is part of Blenheim Farm, which has bred generations of farmers.

FAMILY-OWNED

Our land, located 1 mile from Washington's Birthplace National Monument on the Potomac River, has been in the family for centuries. Our home was built by George Washington's nephew, William Augustine.

100% certified organic

All our produce is USDA-certified organic, which means we never use chemicals, genetically modified seeds (GMOs), or harmful additives. We're committed to preserving the health of surrounding wildlife, soil, and water.

Eating local, sustainably farmed, organic produce is the best thing you can do for your health and for the planet!

WANT TO JOIN us?

We love volunteers! Whether you can come for an afternoon or a whole summer, we'd love to meet you. We have space to pitch a tent or park an RV, and (when available) a small one-room cabin with bunkbeds. Or, if you live nearby, come for an afternoon of harvesting, or planting!

“If every U.S. citizen ate just one meal a week (any meal) composed of locally and organically raised meats and produce, we would reduce our country’s oil consumption by over 1.1 million barrels of oil every week.”
